The Public Service will be actively participating in the Careers Expo at the University of Malta on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2026. This annual event provides an important platform for engagement with students and graduates who are exploring their future career paths.

During the Expo, the Public Service competes alongside major employers in attracting new talent, showcasing the diverse and rewarding career opportunities available within the Public Service. The Institute for the Public Services (IPS) will also be meeting students through face-to-face sessions, offering valuable insights into career development, professional growth, and the benefits of working within the Public Service. These direct interactions serve as an opportunity to highlight key aspects related to attraction and long-term retention.​

IPS will be promoting the IPS Student Scheme in ICT, as well as the Undergraduate and Postgraduate student schemes, providing students with structured pathways to begin and advance their careers. Through these initiatives, students can recognise the Public Service as a strong and viable employer providing a  career path throughout their professional lives.

Events such as the UOM Careers Expo serve as an effective marketing tool to reach prospective students, while also offering them the opportunity to better understand who the Public Service is and what it has to offer as a modern, competitive and forward-looking employer.
