The Institute for the Public Services participates in the I Choose Fair

The Institute for the Public Services (IPS) proudly participated in the I Choose Fair, which was held on the 18th and 19th of July at the University of Malta’s Valletta Campus. During this fair, the IPS represented the Public Service, promoting a wide range of career opportunities available across various areas and sectors within the Malta public administration.

The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism (MFT) and the Lands Authority also joined this initiative to further promote career prospects in their respective specialised fields.

As part of the event, Mr Cachia, IPS’s career guidance professional, delivered an informative presentation outlining the role of the Public Service and highlighting the diverse career paths and professions available at different levels within the Malta public administration.

The I Choose Fair brought together multiple stakeholders with the common aim of guiding and informing students of multiple career opportunities. The primary audience for this fair were fifth-form students who have recently completed their examinations and are now looking to embark on their career journeys.

Through its participation, the IPS reaffirmed its commitment to supporting and encouraging young people to explore fulfilling careers within the Public Service.
