BA (Hons) in Public Procurement and Finance

Deadline: 27th September 2024

Outline of the terms and conditions for sponsorships for public officers who wish to pursue a BA (Hons) in Public Pr​ocurement and Finance at MCAST starting in November 2024. 


​Eligibility: Open to officers in public service within scales 16 to 9, who meet the entry requirements or MCAST’s Maturity Clause. Officers with a Diploma in Procurement and Supply or a Diploma in Public Administration/Finance may receive exemptions from certain units.

Course Details: The course is part-time, with hybrid delivery, and will run for three years. Lectures will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 13:00 to 20:00 or as the exigencies dictate. 

Part-Time Release: Officers will be granted part-time release from 13:00 on those days to attend lectures.

Sponsorship Conditions: Officers must serve a post-study period, as outlined in the Study Leave and Sponsorship Manual. No additional leave for exam preparation is allowed.
