MCAST TEENS TALK 2026

Date26.08.2026

On the 20th and 25th of August 2026, the Institute for the Public Services (IPS) once again participated in the MCAST Teens Talk at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) in Paola.

The talk gave students a glimpse into the various career paths available within Malta’s Public Service, while helping them gain a clearer understanding of the educational goals and qualifications needed to pursue these professions.

IPS’s Career Guidance Professional, Mr Cachia, highlighted the diversity of careers available and the rewarding nature of working in the Public Service by incorporating interactive games into his presentation. One of the activities encouraged students to think about their own potential career paths, helping them reflect on their skills and interests and how these could contribute to building a stronger Public Service.

By reaching out to young students early in their education, IPS helps them gain a clearer understanding of the opportunities available to them. Through initiatives such as MCAST Teens Talk, IPS aims to inspire ambition and demonstrate that a career in the Public Service is not only a profession, but also an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
